Sustainability Highlights:
In today’s world it has become increasingly important for organizations to focus
on our environment and to make sustainability a lifestyle. At Data Trace we understand
that importance and are working to further our green initiative efforts. Whether
it’s recycling, carpool programs, using environmentally friendly materials, or owning
software that provides our customers with paperless documents, Data Trace is working
to execute new environmental programs and ideas daily. We strive to make sustainability
a way of life, and believe that we are inspiring our employees as well as others
in the community to do the same.
We hope that by informing people of our efforts that it will increase their awareness
and enable others to want to join in on the process. Below are just a few examples
of the many ways that we are becoming a more sustainable company. We are proud to
provide our clients a paperless product and if you have not already, we encourage
you to take advantage of our paperless products.
- Online Document Products: At Data Trace our products are used to
access online recorded document images, maps, property information, and much more.
By using Data Trace products there is not a need for printed documents. Our products
not only allow you the ability to access recorded document information online, but
also save and email them as well. By using our products, you can take pride in knowing
that you are cutting back on paper usage and supporting worldwide efforts to help
the environment.
- Online Newsletters, Marketing Tools and Product Information: At
Data Trace we are furthering our sustainable responsibilities by allowing our customers
and prospective customers access to all product information, company newsletters,
and company resources online. By making this information available online, we significantly
reduce our paper usage, and in turn our product information is more readily available.
- Employee Carpool Program: Data Trace has put in countless hours
to design a smart and efficient carpool rewards program. Employees are rewarded
through: Café Vouchers for commuters, quarterly prize drawings, preferred parking,
and free subscription to the “Saver Guide” with discounts and coupons, and incentives
for employees to use the public transportation system. By encouraging people to
carpool, Data Trace can limit gasoline usage and carbon exhaust created by its employees,
ultimately reducing our carbon footprint.
- Environmentally Friendly Cleaning Supplies: Data Trace offices
worldwide have made the switch to environmentally friendly cleaning supplies and
practices. By using proper cleaning techniques, and cutting back on chemicals harmful
to the environment and to our employee’s, our company can cut back on the toxic
fumes.
- Recycling: Data Trace is proud of its paper recycling efforts.
Every employee desk is equipped with a bin to be used for paper recycling. In addition
to recycle bins at employee desks, paper recycling bins are also located in all
copy and supply rooms. By making paper waste bins easily accessible, Data Trace
encourages employee recycling and decreases waste.
- On Site Cafeteria: Data Trace cares about the environment. We have
replaced many of our café containers and tableware for environmentally friendly
products such as: "corn cups" and recycled to go boxes. By eating at the Data Trace
on campus café, our employee’s avoid fuel usage and exhaust output. This
is just another step in reducing our carbon footprint.
We believe that by constantly striving to do our part as a company to reduce our
carbon footprint, that we are inspiring others who interact with our company to
do the same, and that we are also a role model of responsibility for the community.
