Robert Karraa - President
With over 20 years of experience in the property information and database industry, Robert Karraa has led the Data Trace team through continuous growth and new product innovations. Robert began his career with TRTS Data Services which was later acquired by First American Corporation. Prior to accepting his position as President of Data Trace, Robert was the Vice President of Sales and Service for First American CoreLogic. During his tenure with First American, Robert has managed all areas of the company including Operations, Processing, Database Management and Sales. He also managed multiple acquisitions, customer conversion processes and the launch of international operations. Robert holds a bachelor's degree in business from California State Polytechnic University in Pomona and an MBA from the University of Phoenix. Robert is a member of the American Land Title Association and the Mortgage Bankers Association.
Bob Dailey - Chief Operating Officer
Bob began his career with First American in 1999 after 15 years of management experience in healthcare information systems. At First American, Bob held leadership roles in the Mortgage Services division as head of First American Signature Services. In 2009, he assumed the role of COO for First American Professional Real Estate Services ("FAPRES"). At FAPRES, Bob managed a host of businesses that provide title and escrow products, commercial evaluation, due diligence services, and software solutions geared toward the settlement services industry. As Chief Operating Officer for Data Trace, Bob manages all daily operational functions including data acquisition, database maintenance, managed services, technology, branch operations and client services. Bob has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration, with a concentration in Computer Information Systems from California State Polytechnic University, Pomona.
Amanda Pomerantz - Vice President of Marketing and Product Management
Amanda Pomerantz has over 10 years of experience in the property information and database industry. She began her career within First American Real Estate Solutions (now CoreLogic) where she worked in a variety of capacities including Service, Account Management, Sales and Sales Management. Amanda has spent the past 5 years working with Data Trace, also in a variety of roles including Sales, Operational Planning and Vendor Management. She currently holds the position of Vice President of Marketing and Product Management in which Amanda is responsible for managing the entire product life cycle from strategic planning to tactical execution. She leads and directs product launches, product positioning, market research, project requirements and communications.
Gwen Sorensen – Vice President of Client Services
Gwen Sorensen has over 20 years of experience in technology and computer related industries. As Vice President of Client Services, Gwen plays a key role in understanding customer needs and has a nationwide responsibility for Data Trace’s client service strategy. Sorensen’s expertise have led her to take on the duty of directing the client relationship experience, leading outreach activities and positioning, user education and training, quality assurance, in addition to leading the daily service and management of Data Trace’s diverse customer base. She joined Data Trace in 1993 and has held a variety of roles within company departments such as Title Account Management, Marketing and Product Management. Prior to joining Data Trace, Gwen held Sales and Marketing Management positions at Talaris Systems and Handyman Inc.
Mark Johnson - Vice President of Sales
Mark joined Data Trace in 2010 and has over 20 years of diverse sales management experience in the Financial Services and Consumer Packaged Goods industries. Mark is responsible for all aspects of sales for Data Trace, including the management of existing business and gaining new customers through a team of sales managers across the U.S. Mark’s strengths include strategic planning and execution, financial management, building high performing work teams, fostering collaborative internal relationships and external customer partnerships, and delivering results. Mark graduated from California State University, Fullerton with a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration.
Adam Castillo - Vice President of Operations
With more than 25 years of experience within the First American family of companies, Adam has had broad experience in many different leadership functions including Branch Operations, Regional Operations, International Management, Sales, Product Solutions and Database Development. As Vice President of Operations, Adam is responsible for the creation of value-added data for inclusion into Data Trace’s real estate information databases and leads the geographic expansion efforts of the company’s data services. Adam majored in Business Management from the University of Phoenix.
Fran Stevens - Vice President of International Operations
Fran Stevens began her career with First American 19 years ago, and has served in Information Technology and Project Management related positions. Ms. Stevens started with Data Trace in 2004, and currently holds the position of Vice President of International Operations, managing off-shore operations for Data Trace from document delivery to the acquisition of images and the maintenance of databases. Fran and her team coordinate all off-shore activities and operations performed at First American (India). Ms. Steven’s activities also include uninsured property report operations and data acquisitions. Fran holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Management from Pepperdine University and an MBA from Loyola Marymount University, where she specialized in International Business and Management Information Systems.
Mark Werner - Vice President and Division Information Officer
With over 25 years of product development experience, Mark Werner possesses broad engineering and software development experience in the areas of enterprise systems, distributed object systems, scalable architectures and relational databases. Since joining Data Trace in 1999, Mark has directed the development of the world's largest property image database consisting of over 4 billion images and delivering more than 2 million images per day to end users. Prior to joining Data Trace, he worked for Control Systems Analysis specializing in the development and analysis of complex control systems. Mark holds several software patents in the data analysis and data acquisition field. He earned a B.S. in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from Northeastern University.
